By now, we’ve all heard of “spring cleaning”. While many of us may dread it, spring cleaning is a time to declutter and make room for the new in our lives! I have lined up some spring cleaning tips and pointers so that you can experience a successful transition in this spring season!
1. Make A Cleaning List
When deciding what to clean, it is vitally important to consider places around the house that are generally skipped over during your regular cleaning sessions. Figure out what’s most important to you. No matter where you start, make sure you have a list!
2. Declutter Your Living Space
Many of us have experienced coming home to a messy, cluttered area within our room or homes. Seeing that junky area messes with our peace and it ultimately causes stress. By cleaning out chaotic drawers, closets, and bathrooms, you are well able to stay organized and you can avoid unwanted stress!
3. Work From Top To Bottom
Do you enjoy pesky dust? We know that you don’t. That’s why it’s essential that you start from the ceilings and work your way down. By working this way, you prevent dust from creeping in and destroying your clean sections of your home. Enjoy dust free living by following this tip!
4. Change Your Bed Spread
The sun, the flowers, the pollen, what’s not to love about spring? This beautiful season calls for many changes. One important one being bedspreads! By changing your bedspread to match the spring season, you can enjoy a refreshing new scenery in your room!
5. Clean your Makeup Brushes
While this tip may seem obvious to some, makeup brushes may easily become a problem that is glossed over. Every time we use our makeup sponges and brushes, they become contaminated with products. It is important during your spring cleaning to sit down and really deep cleanse those brushes out! You can use a few drops of shampoo or dish soap, and rub it through each of your contaminated brushes thoroughly. You can then rinse them with warm water and allow them to sit out and air dry!
We hope that these tips and tricks help you sustain a clean and engaging environment during this spring season!
