Chef Nae presents simple summer recipes perfect for any social gathering. Stand out with these flavorful, fun, and delicious recipes. We believe that food should be a moment to be creative. So, don't think too hard when making these recipes. All of these recipes can be made any way you want with more or little of every ingredient. What's important is when you cook with love it never turns out wrong.
Sweet Summer Fruit salad
● 1lb Strawberries
● ½ lb Raspberries
● ½ lb Blackberries
● ½ lb Blueberries
● 1 sprig of Fresh mint, chopped
● 1 cup of Lemon juice (approx. 5 lemons)
● 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
Instructions:
Gather all ingredients, bowl, knife, cutting board, mixing spoon, and measuring cups
Dice strawberries into small chunks
Add raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries to a bowl
Juice lemons until you get 1 cup then mix in powdered sugar
Mix all together, serve immediately or chill for later
Stand Out Salmon Sliders
● 1 cup Mayo
● 3 Tbsp of adobo sauce (Only use sauce, not chipotle peppers)
● 3 lbs Salmon fresh, or canned
● 1 Red pepper, rough chop
● 5 stalks of Scallions, roughly chop
● 3 cups of panko bread crumb
● 2 Lemons, juiced
● Salt, to taste
● Pepper, to taste
● Butter, melted, as needed
● Vegetable oil, as needed
● Butter Lettuce, separated & washed
● Hawaiian slider buns toasted
Instructions:
Gather all ingredients, bowl, knife, cutting board, mixing spoon, and measuring cups, food processor, saute pan
Mix together mayo and adobo sauce until desired flavor, then chill
Cut salmon filets into large chunks; add salmon, scallions, red pepper, and lemon juice to food processor and pulse until combined
Move mixture to bowl, season and mix with bread crumbs until mixture holds its shape
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Heat suate pan (medium high heat) with vegetable oil and create small patties sear on each side until golden brown
Finish off in the oven until patty reaches 145 degrees F
Brush buns with butter, toast in oven for 5 mins
Start building slider, bottom bun, lettuce, patty, chipotle mayo, top bun
EAT, SERVE, ENJOY
Poppin’ Potato Poppers
● 2lbs Redskin Potatoes, cut in half
● 6 oz Sour Cream
● ½ cup of Ranch dressing
● 1 bag Colby jack, shredded cheese
● Salt & pepper, to taste
● Scallions, thinly sliced
Instructions:
Gather all ingredients, bowl, knife, cutting board, mixing spoon, measuring cups, and large pot
Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F
Cut potatoes in half and cut a small piece off bottom so the potatoes sit flat
Bring to boil in a large pot
Cook until tender but not falling apart
Cool down and scoop a generous amount of the potato into a bowl, be gentle so that the skin of the potato doesn’t break
Into potato filling, mix sour cream, salt and pepper, ranch dressing, and butter until smooth
With an ice cream scoop fill the original potato with filling then top with cheese and bake until cheese is melted and golden brown
Garnish with sour cream and scallions
